Scott Rosenshein

Co-Founder and Partner

Scott is experienced in leading teams, developing individuals, and driving operational performance in small, medium, and large enterprises. He served as an Aviation officer and an Apache helicopter pilot in the US Army for eight years. During his second combat deployment to Afghanistan, he led a team of eight Apaches, crews and maintainers, supporting infantry and special operations throughout the country. This experience taught him the importance of always being a trusted and reliable partner, especially during the most difficult times. After the Army, Scott joined The Boston Consulting Group as a consultant for Fortune 500 and mid-market businesses. In addition to his investment role at Saddler, Scott currently serves as the President of Eagle Woodworking.

Scott earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the US Military Academy at West Point. He grew up in New Jersey, where he found his passion for trail running and hiking. He remains dedicated to fitness and being active, whether hiking, camping, or generally getting outdoors. He currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts where he enjoys being an active part of veteran community and participating in community service organizations.

 

Blake Schwartz

Blake is passionate about creating empowered teams aligned around a common vision. He believes that in today’s world of increasing interconnectedness, how organizations conduct business matters more than ever. He served as an Aviation officer and a Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the US Army for eight years with two combat tours to Afghanistan. In his last assignment, Blake led a team of eight helicopters and crews to support an array of missions throughout Afghanistan. He credits his military service for instilling the values of discipline, humility, and resilience. After the military, he joined Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager, as an investment professional. In addition to his investment role at Saddler, Blake currently manages Saddler portfolio operations as well as leads marketing, business development, and finance operations for Eagle Woodworking.

Blake holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He grew up in Texas with an affinity for reading and playing soccer. He discovered his passion for traveling at the age of 12 after winning a free trip for two to anywhere in the world from a gumball machine. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.

 

Reed Taylor

Reed believes in creating teams where everyone can take pride in the role they play. His experience has given him a world-class operational toolkit that can apply to businesses small and large. At Boston Consulting Group, he has led lean manufacturing deployments across multiple plants focused on increasing efficiency and reducing equipment downtime. He also created growth strategies for companies across industries including industrials, chemicals, and healthcare. Prior to BCG, Reed worked as a Process Development Engineer for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals where he designed manufacturing processes for new therapeutics. In addition to his investment role at Saddler, Reed currently serves as the Head of M&A at Summit Wash Holdings.

Reed has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. He grew up in Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where he found his passion for hiking and skiing. He currently resides in Stamford, Connecticut.
